Sacha Killeya-Jones has really blown up in the past year and now he will be taking his talents to the University of Kentucky. Sacha has continued to improve and at 6-10 he is one of the most versatile offensive players in the country. He can step outside and knock down the 3-ball but also has the ability to finish with his back to the basket. He’s active and mobile and runs the floor well. There’s no question why John Calipari recruited him as he’s another big who can basically do it all.
This summer Sacha hit the circuit with Team Felton in the Under Armour circuit and was a standout in every tournament. Teaming up with Jalek Felton, the two formed a very dynamic duo and they had all the high majors in the gym to evaluate. At the NBPA Top 100 camp Sacha once again showed that he was among the most skilled forwards in the nation. He was in a select few who could score from all three levels consistently and also defend on the defensive end of the floor. To finish up the summer Sacha joined up with Team Loaded VA to compete in the Adidas Super 64 in Las Vegas. He was a tremendous piece to their already loaded roster and he led them to a championship victory over Mass Rivals on ESPNU. Sacha was named MVP of the tournament and was a standout throughout the entire week. Stay tuned as he enters into his senior season at Virginia Episcopal School.
